After several years of traveling in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, it took all those years to realize I was missing out on something beautiful within my own backyard! Just like in my many trips, it is easy in District 1 to achieve an enjoyable 200 to 300km ride on a beautiful day. Trails are nicely groomed, the signage is great, and there's a lot of accommodations, services and amenities to serve us. As oppose to riding long unidirectional corridors, the District 1 trails goes several ways and every 10 km reserves you a surprising change of scenery. The sceneries varies from mixed forest trails, evergreens, farm lands, rolling hills and mountains. I feel very fortunate to have the possibility for different options when planning a weekend ride. District 1 is above par when it comes to the quality of his trails, signage, the people and it's various geographic vistas. Try District 1 trails and come enjoy!
