Two things make snowmobiling in District 1 so special. First, the trail network provides thousands of kilometres of riding enjoyment. Eastern Ontario has some of the most beautiful scenery in the province and the D1 trail network takes you right into the heart of it.

Second, the people I have met snowmobiling in District 1 have been enthusiastic and welcoming. Whether it's the many volunteers who sign and maintain trails, or the groomer operators who make the trails perfect, or the many local club riders who go out of their way to ensure you have a great time, everyone in District 1 really cares about your riding experience.

This is why riding in District 1 is so special and why I take every opportunity to come back and ride in the area.
