I have been an avid snowmobiler for over forty years; my children were riding on snowmobiles before they could walk. I have enjoyed the trails in most parts of Ontario, but the most enjoyable times have been touring in District One. Here you meet the nicest people, always friendly and willing to lend a helping hand.

There is spectacular scenery and diverse landscapes where there is ample opportunity to see many specimens of wildlife. Nothing is more exhilarating than skimming along a well groomed trail with friends and family on a beautiful crisp winter day, enjoying the scenery and camaraderie, stopping to take a break for a hot bowl of soup or maybe a hot dog at one of the local clubhouses or restaurants along the trail where you are always made welcome. What's' not to love about snowmobiling in District One.
