I have to say that when I want to play District 1 is my first choice. Up and down and all around, the trails call out like a voice. It usually starts in early June, waiting hoping the snow will come soon.

Then by November family and friends try to win the "first snowfall" prediction. Finally it's here, the snow, the trails and we cheer "District 1 has opened the new season."

The obsession builds and the distraction takes over. How can I work when my mind's going berserk. Waiting to get on my sled.

As soon as we get out there and be one with the trails "La raison d'�tre" appears without fail.
