It doesn't take long to relax and unwind once you hit the smoothly groomed trails in District 1. Being a back seat rider for many years I always look forward to a fresh snowfall, a sunny day, the ever-changing scenery throughout the many trails and a hot mug of coco along the way. Sometimes we stop for lunch or a tasty breakfast, which is offered up by many of the local clubs along the trails. Throughout the vast area of trails in District 1, you can see how much work has gone into maintaining trails by the many clubs and volunteers. It shows they must truly love the sport for the trails are well signed and groomed for our safety and enjoyment. There is nothing like the fresh air, the smell of the forest, the curves of the groomed trails and enjoying it with that someone special.
