As you head north from TOP E105 and onto TOP E113 from Prescott you will turn onto an abandoned rail bed, which will lead you north and turn onto TOP A104 as you sled towards the town of Kemptville. Kemptville is located 2 km off TOP A104 and has services for food and fuel accessed by using the club trail located at County Road # 43 and TOP A104. Continue north on A104 and cross the staked ice crossing trail across the Rideau River and follow the groomed forest access roads of the Marlborough forest. A104 connects with TOP trail A in the center of Marlborough forest and here you will turn east onto TOP A. Take a moment for some photos and enjoy the quietness of the forest. Traveling east on TOP A will bring you across another ice crossing trail and into the communities of Osgoode and Metcalfe. Great food awaits you at the famous Red Dot Café, (Osgoode), where you can sled right up to the door. Metcalfe offers fuel and service for Arctic Cat sleds, all located on the trail with signage in place to find your needs. Your travel will take you through the beautiful and well-known Larose Forest on wide, safe, groomed trails as you head south towards the town of Moose Creek. On your travels south don't forget to stop at the famous covered bridge for photos, located just north of the town of Monkland where fuel and food is literally located almost on the trail. Continue heading south of Monkland and then turn west onto TOP A104. Our Roller Coaster Run, one of six possible Loop Du Jour, is 325 km (202 miles) of pure sledding as you ride into an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie associated with our snowmobile friendly communities.

Your starting point for Snowmobiler friendly accommodations can be found in the resort town of Calabogie at the Jocko's Beach Resort www.jockosbeach.com 1-613-752-2107, Hwy 508, located just off TOP E. The community of Calabogie also offers restaurants, service stations, automotive garages and a pharmacy, all located right on or off TOP E and TOP E105A.

This two-day loop will take you through rolling hills of woodlots, open fields, pipeline corridors and abandoned rail lines. As you start your travel east on TOP E and then south towards the town of Sharbot Lake you will sledding on abandon rail beds with many scenic vistas. Sharbot Lake can be a quick stop with trailside amenities of food and fuel, all located on TOP E or TOP E108. As you head east from TOP E and continue on TOP E you will turn onto another abandoned rail bed, which will lead you east as you sled towards the town of Perth. Perth has fuel and food and of course a Timmy's located just off TOP E. the local Ski-doo dealer is near by for any service requirement. Continue on TOP E and follow the groomed open fields and access roads to Smiths Falls. At all time on your morning ride take a moment for some photos and enjoy the quietness of this region. Smiths Falls also offer fuel and food if need be and you will now turn North on E103 towards Carleton Place. Travel on E103 and then west onto E104A and then TOP A towards Carleton Place. Your overnight stop is only 50 km (35 miles) away at Seven West Motel, 613-257-5666. The restaurant is attached to the motel, so you can now really relax after your first day ride.

This first day ride will give you the chance to see many of Ontario's wildlife in the winter months as you sled on the well-groomed, signed trails provided by the volunteers of the many clubs that make up District One Snowmobile Association.

Your next day's travel will send you on TOP A and straight North towards Arnprior. Your travel will take you through beautiful wide, safe, groomed trails as you head north towards the town of Arnprior. A Yamaha dealer is trail side along with fuel and food if needed. Continue heading west on TOP A and then turn south onto TOP E105A. These Top trails follows abandon rail beds through farmland; these smooth trails connect back to TOP E and then a short jaunt back to your starting point of Jocko's Beach Resort.

Throughout your two-day ride, you will come across a variety of rolling country side, forested trails, open farmland, unopened road allowances and rail bed trails.
