"District 1 has diverse trails:"

As a newcomer to organised snowmobiling I have had an amazing season in the Eastern Ontario District 1 trail system. I snowmobiled as far as Iroquois this past season, having started right from my backyard, Yarker I should add. The trails in District 1 are very diverse, which always adds to the excitement of snowmobiling here. We can enjoy rolling hills, forests, open fields, and abandoned rail beds that will take you everywhere. The rail beds are always a unique experience as they take you through the centre of the small towns and villages that the railway formerly served. This adds to the experience when you stop at the small gas bars and convenience stores and get a feel for the country lifestyle and easygoing people of rural Eastern Ontario. If you ask around you can even find B&BS to make a weekend getaway snowmobiling in District 1. With such a large area, and many trail loops, you never have to retrace your steps when planning a trip in District 1
